Live polls for meetings, lectures and events

Put a question on the big screen, let everyone answer from their phone and show the result while it is still forming.

How a live poll runs

  • Write your questions: one choice, several choices or a free-text answer. Add images or draw on them if a picture says it better.
  • Open the event. You get a link and a QR code, and a projector view made for the back row.
  • Participants open a link or scan a QR code on their phones. There is no app to install and no account to create.
  • Open the questions one at a time. Bars update as people vote, on your screen and on the projector.
  • Finish the event and download the results as a PDF or a PowerPoint deck.

You decide what the room sees

Results can appear immediately, only after a question closes, or stay on the organizer’s screen. Answers can be anonymous or signed with a name, and you choose whether people may change their answer while the question is open.

A question can have a time limit. With a strict timer it closes by itself; otherwise the timer is only a guide.

Good for

  • Team meetings and all-hands: a quick decision or a temperature check.
  • Lectures and workshops: see what the audience understood before moving on.
  • Conferences and meetups: let a hall of strangers answer without signing up for anything.

Privacy by default

Participants need no account. Event content is deleted automatically some days after the event ends, and Votumio sets no advertising or analytics cookies.

Questions and answers

Do participants need an app or an account?

No. Participants open a link or scan a QR code on their phones. There is no app to install and no account to create. A browser on a phone or a laptop is enough.

Can poll answers be anonymous?

Yes. For each event you choose whether answers are anonymous or signed with a name, and whether people may change their answer while the question is open.

Can I hide the results until a question closes?

Yes. Results can appear as people vote, only after the question closes, or stay on the organizer’s screen.

Is Votumio free?

Small sessions are free and need no card. You pay only for a bigger audience, more images per question or a longer history — once for a single event or as a subscription; the pricing page has the details.
